Melissa Sikorsky

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New Jersey. I work with individuals with a range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, mood disorders, and general relationship conflicts. I specialize in working with First Responder's including police, corrections, nursing, EMT, dispatch and more. Additionally, I work with family members of this population.

I use active listening skills, psychoeducation, and both DBT and CBT techniques to help clients gain insight into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I seek to mobilize areas of strength and encourage clients to be more intentional with their actions to gain control over their lives. I provide a nonjudgmental, safe atmosphere for clients to have their own unique experiences.
