Great to meet you!

Do you look like you have it all together, while inside you feel overwhelmed, anxious, exhausted, or stuck? Maybe you’ve spent years taking care of everyone else, pushing through difficult experiences, or trying to be strong—only to realize that the things you’ve been carrying are beginning to affect your relationships, your confidence, and your overall quality of life.

Perhaps you are recovering from a relationship that left you questioning yourself. Narcissistic and emotionally abusive relationships can leave you feeling confused, depleted, and paralyzed by fear. You may find yourself replaying conversations, struggling to set boundaries, or having difficulty trusting yourself and others. Healing from this type of relationship involves more than simply leaving it—it can mean reconnecting with who you are and learning to trust yourself again.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a place where you can be honest without feeling judged. My approach is compassionate, practical, and focused on helping you understand not only what you’re feeling, but why—and what you can do to begin creating meaningful change.

I have more than 10 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, and families in private practice, crisis, and social service settings. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, narcissistic and emotional abuse, difficult relationships, and major life transitions. I am trained in EMDR and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), with extensive experience helping individuals recover from narcissistic and emotional abuse. I tailor treatment to the individual rather than expecting every client to fit into one particular approach.

Trauma can affect much more than our memories. It can influence how we see ourselves, how safe we feel in relationships, how we respond to conflict, and how our bodies react when something reminds us of the past. Sometimes people know exactly where those patterns began. Other times they simply know that something doesn’t feel right anymore.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to help you recognize unhealthy patterns, understand the impact of what you have experienced, establish healthier boundaries, and reconnect with your own voice and sense of identity. Together, we can work toward reducing the hold the past has on your present and helping you move forward with greater confidence and clarity.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out. Sometimes the first step is simply having a conversation with someone who will listen, understand, and help you determine where to begin.
