Great to meet you!

I earned my master's in Marriage and Family Therapy and Art Therapy Psychology. While in graduate school, I completed my fieldwork within a children's hospital and an eating disorders/pediatrics inpatient unit for ages 5-25, where I provided individual and group Art Therapy. I have extensive experience and knowledge supporting children and young adults profoundly impacted by autism in a school setting, along with a deep understanding of how the family has been affected.

A bit about my approach to therapy

When we focus on developing a relationship first and feeling a sense of safety, it is much easier to navigate through the discomfort. So we will start there. I invite you to try Art Therapy in a way that will assist you in recognizing your strengths and provide you with a feeling of connection. I often incorporate art, play, and movement when working with children and families. A typical client of mine is looking for guidance in emotional regulation and wants greater emotional awareness.

What you can expect from our first session

All clients are invited to use the expressive arts (but not required) to support communicating the feelings experienced in the body. I hope my clients experience a sense of safety, connection, and relief.
