Great to meet you!

I’m currently accepting a limited number of new clients, with availability on Sundays and select Fridays.

Hi, I’m Melissa — a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey and Pennsylvania with a Master of Science in Counseling and over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I provide online therapy for teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, self-doubt, and relationship challenges.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care. I’m committed to ongoing professional growth through advanced training, consultation, and continuing education to ensure I provide thoughtful, effective, and high-quality care tailored to each client’s unique needs.

My approach to therapy

I believe a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change. My approach is client-centered, creating a space grounded in empathy, authenticity, acceptance, and nonjudgment—where you can feel safe, seen, and supported.

At the same time, therapy is about more than feeling heard. Together, we’ll identify meaningful goals and create a personalized plan that supports the changes you want to make in your life. I integrate evidence-based approaches—grounded in research and supported by science—to help you build practical skills, process difficult experiences, and create lasting, meaningful change.

I strive to meet you where you are while also helping you move toward where you want to be—with honesty, collaboration, compassion, and purpose.

What you can expect from me

You can expect therapy with me to be both supportive and purposeful. Clients often share that they feel genuinely heard, understood, and safe enough to explore difficult thoughts, emotions, and life experiences openly.

At the same time, our work goes beyond insight alone. Each session is designed to help you build practical tools, deepen self-awareness, and make meaningful progress toward the goals we’ve identified together.

My hope is that you leave sessions not only feeling supported, but with greater clarity, confidence, and strategies you can apply in everyday life as you continue your healing, growth, and transformation.
