I’ve spent the past 11 years working with patients across all age ranges in both the inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings. Seeing the gaps in my community's access to quality mental health treatment motivated me to return to Walden University for my master’s degree. I completed my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner board certification in 2023 and that led me to where I am today.
I take a holistic approach to mental health care, considering how the mind, body, and life experiences all play a role in well-being. I believe in working collaboratively with clients and value their autonomy, supporting them in making informed treatment decisions that align with their goals and preferences.
A comfortable, relaxed and nonjudgemental environment where a complete mental health and medical history will be discussed, as well as review of your current symptoms and concerns. A diagnosis with individualized recommendations for treatment options will be reviewed with you and if you are agreeable, prescriptions will be sent for you to pick up at your local pharmacy. At the end of the intake assessment we will schedule your next appointment for a mutually agreed upon date and time.
