Great to meet you!

Allow me to join you on your journey to improved mental health as I work with you in processing through your gender dysphoria, PTSD, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Grief & Loss, and Life Stress. I bring over seven years of experience and specialized training in transgender and gender affirming care. With a BSW and MSW from East Tennessee State University, I support people working through trauma, identity concerns, substance use, OCD, panic, family issues, and life stress. You know yourself best, and I am here to listen.

My approach to therapy

Therapy should give you space to feel heard, understood, and empowered. I use evidence based techniques tailored to your needs, goals, and experiences rather than taking a one size fits all approach. I frequently use the Empty Chair technique, which can help you process unresolved emotions, stressors, triggers, grief, and difficult relationships. My role is to support your insight while helping you develop healthier ways to cope and move forward.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance to slow down, feel welcomed, and begin making sense of what brought you to therapy. We will complete your intake and talk about your concerns, goals, needs, and what you hope to gain from counseling. You can expect a warm, judgment free environment where your experiences are respected. Therapy is collaborative, so your feedback matters. Together, we can build a plan that feels comfortable and meaningful to you.
