Great to meet you!

My approach to therapy blends nature-based spirituality, creative inspiration, strong clinical training, and lived experience. I bring over 20 years of professional experience in the mental health field including EMDR certification, IFS, and training with Harvard Psychiatry in effective treatment planning. I am also a registered yoga teacher with a passion for empowering individuals to heal and transmute stuck energy through mindful breath and movement.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is a partnership between client and therapist. It's a dynamic relationship that evolves and grows as we learn more about each other along the way. I work closely with each individual to find a path in therapy that will best suit their style of learning and current needs. I'm quick to recognize patterns and have strong intuitive guidance on what tools or therapeutic approaches will work best with an individual, ensuring that each client's therapy experience is uniquely curated and optimized for them. I believe each person I work with is the author of their own story, and so I listen carefully and offer suggestions, guidance, and reflections empowering authentic growth and healing.

What you can expect from me

Your first session will involve exploring your hopes and goals for therapy, and how I may be of service to that end. Most importantly, it's an opportunity for us to explore if the relationship is a good fit. I will ask background questions and demonstrate curiosity towards what brings you to therapy now, and why you're curious about potentially working with me. I'll answer any questions you have about me, my background and training, and identify areas where we can begin working together immediately if the fit feels good to us both.
