Great to meet you!

I believe that counseling is more than a profession—it's a calling. It is a privilege to walk alongside individuals as they navigate life's challenges, discover their strengths, and create meaningful change.

My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we'll explore the experiences that have shaped you, develop a deeper understanding of your thoughts and emotions, and build practical tools to help you move forward with confidence.

I recognize that no two people are alike. Your experiences, strengths, values, and goals are uniquely yours, which is why I tailor every counseling experience to fit your individual needs. Rather than expecting you to fit a particular approach, I meet you where you are and work at a pace that feels right for you.

Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or life transitions, my role is to provide compassionate guidance, evidence-based support, and practical strategies that help you find healing, resilience, and hope. My greatest joy is watching clients grow in confidence, gain new perspectives, and realize they are capable of creating the life they want.

My approach to therapy

I tend to ask a lot of questions so that I fully understand what is bothering you. This will also help me develop the most effective plan for helping you. I also like to use humor, when it is appropriate, so that the session doesn't become overwhelming or overbearing to the point you don't want to come back.

What you can expect from me

Sometimes, we will have worked assigned for the week so that you can find time throughout the week to continue learning about our discussion for the week. We will go at your pace. Don't ever think you are going too slow.
