Great to meet you!

I work with individuals of all ages who may be carrying heavy burdens and aren’t quite sure what to do with them. These challenges might come from childhood trauma, ongoing anxiety, or major life transitions that can gradually wear down self-esteem and confidence. In our work together, my goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we’ll build a collaborative plan that is tailored to your unique needs. Plus, we make sure this plan is both measurable and achievable, so you can move toward lasting growth, healing, and a renewed sense of well-being/purpose!

My approach to therapy

I take an integrative approach to therapy, which means I pull from different methods to best support where you are right now and where you want to grow. Using tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, I help clients reframe their trauma stories, connect more deeply with their values, and take meaningful steps toward the life they want to create.

What you can expect from me

I prioritize authenticity and strive to create a safe, welcoming space built on open, nonjudgmental communication. In our sessions, I take the time to truly listen to your story and experiences, honoring both the pain and the joy you bring into the room. Therapy with me is a place where you can express your full range of emotions, whether that’s laughing together in one moment or shedding tears in the next. My goal is to meet you where you are with compassion, curiosity, and respect, so you feel supported and understood throughout your journey. As a Black woman living with a disability, I recognize how identity, culture, and lived experiences intersect to shape the way we see ourselves and the world. I bring this awareness into my work, ensuring that therapy is not only a place for healing but also one that honors your whole self.
