Great to meet you!

Hello, I have been a practicing therapist for 10 years. I have worked with a variety of clients in inpatient and outpatient settings. I have worked with all ages, but mainly with adolescents and adults. Mood disorders, crisis, stress, and psychotic disorders are my main areas of expertise; however, I have worked with couples, trauma, and substance use regularly.

My approach to therapy

My treatment approach is a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused, person-centered, positive psychology, and humanistic interventions. It will vary depending on what works for you the client and what we are working on. I try to do an individual approach based on what the client needs to determine course of treatment.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, the expectations would be for me to learn about you and for you to get a feel for me. Rapport-building begins in the first session to support optimal treatment outcomes. I will gather background information to better understand you as a whole. We will work collaboratively to determine treatment goals.
