Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care. I completed my graduate training in psychiatric mental health and have experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, and other mood concerns. Additionally, I have experience with acute and chronic psychosis, as well as drug and alcohol abuse. I believe in creating a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs, combining thoughtful medication management with brief, supportive care. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered as we work together toward your well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative care when possible which is tailored to each individual’s unique needs and goals. I take time to listen and understand your experiences, creating a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing openly. I integrate evidence-based medication management with a holistic perspective, considering factors such as lifestyle, stress, and overall well-being. I feel when my clients learn I am trustworthy and sincere in my approach, this provides a platform for open communication, making it natural to work together developing a treatment plan that feels realistic and obtainable. My goal is to support you in making meaningful progress with your mental health that you will be able to continue on your own eventually.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a calm, relaxed, and nonjudgmental environment where I take time to get to know you. I will ask many questions and ask you for your feedback, when you feel comfortable in doing so. I will meet you where you are at that time. We will also review your history, current concerns, and what you're goals are concerning your mental health and treatment. I ask the questions so I can really understand what your symptoms are and how they contribute to your overall wellbeing. By the end of the session, we’ll discuss my initial impressions and you and I will come up with at plan to help you achieve your goals. This treatment plan may include medications, therapy, lifestyle adjustments, supplements, or referral to a more appropriate type of treatment. You will be involved in all of the decisions and nothing is ever forced. You are in control of your treatment and future, I will just make recommendations based on your individual situation and goals using the knowledge I have gained from my experience and ongoing education. My goal is for every appointment to leave you feeling truly heard, genuinely supported, and more hopeful than before, empowered with the confidence that things can get better, and that you don't have to face it alone.
