Great to meet you!

I have been working as a Therapist for almost 18 years where I have worked in both residential and outpatient facilities for both substance use and mental health facilities. I also have a decade of experience in leadership roles and am currently moving back to my passion of providing one-on-one therapy. Treatment areas of focus include addiction, trauma focused, life transitions and mood disorders. Specialty populations with expertise include First Responders.

My approach to therapy

I have traditionally from a psychodynamic approach. Over the years I have transitioned to a multifaceted approach incorporating a Psychodynamic modality with EMDR, Performance Psychology, and Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy (HCH). HCH is a deeper process of psychotherapy which is achieved through a relaxed state of consciousness. HCH embraces the concept of self-determination and the belief that every client contains, deep within their own subconscious mind, the key to their own health and healing.

What you can expect from me

The ultimate goal is health and healing by utilizing a mind-body-spirit approach. The link between our emotional and mental wellness is undeniable - How our body feels impacts our emotions. Emotions are physical and we can be unaware of how our body is storing stress and trauma. Because trauma is fundamentally a manifestation of nervous system dysregulation, it becomes an existential mandate to disrupt the trauma response.
