Great to meet you!

My background includes working with individuals who have experienced PTSD, physical, sexual, and military trauma, as well as those navigating grief and loss. I also have experience supporting clients in executive leadership roles through their unique challenges. As someone who is partially blind, I understand firsthand the importance of accessibility and empathy, and I strive to create a supportive and understanding environment for all my clients.

Each person seeking counseling requires an individualized plan to address their unique needs. As a visually impaired person, challenges come up for me everyday, and asking for help is second nature in my life. I walk with clients on whatever path they're on, to explore any areas of need they may have.

Those who're experiencing PTSD/Trauma, Grief, Infertility (men too) and Divorce, I feel your sorrow and pain. I also know its hard to cope with life day to day and relax. It isn't easy to process painful events, which I've endured myself and know how hard it can be to seek therapy. I will help you own your pain, so that your true strength can be found.

Let's talk and explore together.

My approach to therapy

As a father of 3, finding the energy and time to recharge can be hard, but needed. Therapy is about the connection between a client and clinician, which illuminates life's complications when being a good dad and partner. But, the person in the mirror must come first, despite guilt about it.

I've been a therapist for nearly 2 decades and having worked in New York City for haft of this time, life can be amazing and terrifying. Mind and body are one and by working on basic (diet, exercise and ways to relax), the mind can unlock, to explore stress and pain in a systematic way. We can't make more time, so let me help you find it in your day.

What you can expect from me

To help people deal with pain and stress, I use Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychoanalytic Theory to deal with issues in a safe and constructive way. My client and I will collaborate and make a systematic plan, giving comfort to the therapeutic process. Although this can be uncomfortable, we'll work together on becoming comfortable with discomfort.

Trauma/PTSD, Grief (pets too), Infertility (men as well as women) and those who are or pursuing Divorce creates a great deal of pain within anyone, which is unique to them. To deal with hurtful issues takes courage, which all have and waits to be found, even in the darkest times. Slow and steady wins the race, when dealing with difficult areas of life.
