Great to meet you!

I am licensed in Louisiana with 3 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence, & depression. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step toward a more fulfilling, happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

My approach to therapy

I practice an integrative, trauma-informed approach that centers safety, collaboration, and respect for each client’s lived experience. I draw primarily from cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and attachment-based work to help clients understand patterns and build practical skills. Sessions balance insight with action, using mindfulness, values clarification, and gentle behavioral experiments to support meaningful change. I view symptoms as understandable responses to stress rather than defects, and we work together to reduce shame while increasing self-compassion. Treatment goals are co-created and regularly reviewed to ensure therapy remains relevant and empowering. Throughout the process, I prioritize cultural humility, ethical care, and the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for healing.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to be a welcoming, low-pressure conversation focused on getting to know each other. You’ll spend time discussing what brought them to therapy, what they’re hoping to get out of it, and any immediate concerns they want support with. You’ll also review important logistics like confidentiality, boundaries, and how therapy works, so there are no surprises. The pace is guided by the client—they can share as much or as little as feels comfortable. You may ask thoughtful questions to better understand their history, strengths, and current stressors, but there is no expectation to have everything figured out. Above all, the first session is about creating a sense of safety, clarity, and collaboration as you begin the therapeutic process together.
