Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual clinical psychologist with doctoral training in clinical psychology and a specialization in neuropsychology. My work has included child and adolescent mental health, psychological and developmental assessment, autism-focused evaluation, integrated pediatric care, and cross-cultural neuropsychological assessment. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, mood concerns, trauma, neurodevelopmental differences, adjustment challenges, health-related stress, and changes in cognitive functioning.

I aim to offer a welcoming, respectful space where clients can feel understood without having to “perform” or fit a single idea of wellness. I value creativity, curiosity, and practical problem-solving. Technology can be a useful ally in therapy when it supports connection, organization, access to care, and everyday coping; it does not need to be treated as the enemy. I tailor care to each client’s cultural background, strengths, goals, and real-life circumstances

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and individualized. I draw from psychodynamic, mentalization-based, cognitive-behavioral, and developmental approaches to help clients better understand their thoughts, feelings, relationships, and behavioral patterns. Therapy may focus on building emotional awareness, improving coping and communication, strengthening self-advocacy, and finding practical strategies that fit daily life.

I believe meaningful change happens when insight and action work together. Sessions may include reflection on past and present experiences, skill-building, creative problem-solving, and use of technology-based tools—such as reminders, tracking tools, or digital resources—when they are helpful and aligned with the client’s goals.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance to get to know one another at a comfortable pace. We will discuss what brought you to therapy, what feels most important right now, your strengths, relevant history, and what you hope will be different through treatment. You do not need to have everything organized or know exactly what to say.

Together, we will begin identifying goals and determine an approach that feels practical, respectful, and tailored to you. You are welcome to ask questions about therapy, confidentiality, treatment options, and how technology or other supports might be incorporated into care.
