Great to meet you!

Reaching out to schedule your first session can be overwhelming and sometimes intimidating but imagine being nervous and it's just going to be me on the other side of the screen? My goal is to make it simple, easy and not complicated. I have over 18 years experience in the Social Work field. I have worked in community mental health in a multitude of roles serving people from all walks of life. I have my Master of Social Work from West Virginia University.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is grounded in meeting you where you are, creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, emotions, and challenges. I will work collaboratively with you to help you better understand your thoughts and feelings, identify your strengths, and develop meaningful goals. Together, we will create an individualized treatment plan that reflects your needs, values, and readiness for change. I view therapy as a partnership, empowering you to take an active role in your healing and growth while providing support, guidance, and evidence-based interventions along the way.

What you can expect from me

I have been told that I am very easy to speak with and can immediately put people at ease. I will listen to understand how we can best move forward together. I have primarily worked for the past 10 years with people suffering from significant trauma and addiction issues but I am well versed in a vast variety of topics.
