Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change. I believe that true growth begins when we feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and practical — I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, build insight, and move toward greater balance and fulfillment.

My clinical style integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Approaches, and Trauma-Informed Care. I also draw from strengths-based and person-centered frameworks to help clients reconnect with their resilience and inner resources. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, or past trauma, we’ll work together to develop strategies that feel authentic and sustainable for you.

I earned my Master’s in Social Work from California State University San Marcos and have worked in diverse settings, including community mental health, healthcare, and private practice. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients from a wide range of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, and I’m deeply committed to fostering inclusivity, respect, and cultural humility in my work.

Clients often describe me as warm, down-to-earth, and attentive. My goal is to help you feel empowered, supported, and capable of meaningful growth — not only in therapy, but in all areas of your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, compassionate, and grounded in trust and authenticity. I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences freely. I integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based strategies, and Trauma-Informed Care, drawing from a strengths-based and person-centered perspective.

In our work together, we’ll identify patterns that may be holding you back and develop practical tools to help you manage stress, regulate emotions, and cultivate healthier relationships with yourself and others. I believe in meeting clients where they are and tailoring therapy to fit each person’s unique needs, values, and goals.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to create a comfortable and welcoming space where you can begin to share what brings you to therapy at your own pace. We’ll spend time getting to know each other, discussing your goals, and exploring what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background, current challenges, and strengths, but there’s no pressure to have everything figured out — this time is for you.

Together, we’ll begin to outline a plan that feels supportive and realistic, identifying approaches that best fit your needs and personality. Most importantly, the first session is an opportunity for you to get a sense of my style and to determine if I’m the right fit for you. My hope is that you leave feeling heard, understood, and encouraged about the path ahead.
