Great to meet you!

I graduated with my Master's Degree in Community Counseling in 2009 from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN. I was licensed in the State of Tennessee as a Professional Counselor in 2015. I moved to New Mexico in January of 2019 and was licensed in New Mexico from 2018 until 2025. I moved to Virginia where I currently reside in 2022 and have been licensed as a Professional Counselor here in Virginia since October 2021. I have extensive experience working with people who struggle with Substance Abuse and Substance Dependence. I also have worked with people who have experienced trauma, Depression, and Anxiety. As a member of the LGBT community, I am proud to provide services to my fellow LGBTQIA clients. I primarily work with adults but also have experience working with children and adolescents. I have experience working with people in the U.S. Military as well.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to meet you where you are in your therapy journey. My goal is to provide a safe, trusting and confidential environment and space for you to work on whatever is bringing you into therapy. I try to incorporate methods from the modality of Psychodrama created by J. L. Moreno. These methods include exploring roles, working using empty chair, and enactment, role taking and role reversal.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to gain insight into your roles and behavior patterns. My aim is also to help you find the strength, creativity, and spontaneity to find new and healthy solution to past, current and future problems.
