Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Mercedes! I’m a bilingual (English| Spanish) psychotherapist with a passion for supporting individuals through complex trauma.

My goal is to offer compassionate, culturally responsive care that makes you feel seen, supported, and safe every step of the way.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, culturally rooted, and grounded in compassion. I believe with the right support, we can all thrive. I have extensive experience working with individuals and families who have experienced a major life change and are dealing with the aftermath and symptoms of these major changes.

I integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Mindfulness, among others.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients often describe me as empathetic, authentic, and gently challenging. I create a space where you can be yourself without judgment—where your pain is honored, your resilience is celebrated, and your growth is supported at your pace.
