Dr. Mercy Omijie

I am a doctoral prepared & board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in the evaluation, diagnosis, & treatment of various psychiatric disorders in individuals of all ages.

I earned my Doctoral Degree in Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from the University of Arizona. In addition, I pursued additional training in treatment for people with opioid use disorder. I provide medication management & add on brief psychotherapy to help people with varieties of mental illness.

My approach to assessment is comprehensive & whole-person focused. I take my time to know each of my clients & to address their specific needs. I understand that everyone has their own unique psychological, biological, social & cultural factors that influence their mental health. I consider each of these components when formulating assessments & developing collaborative treatment plans with my clients.

During our initial session, we will delve deeply into the issues at hand, and address them in a way that helps you get your life back. Most of my clients see symptoms trend down within the first month or two and sustained improvement thereafter.
