Great to meet you!

Hello! I have been practicing mental health counseling for 15 years. I started my career in community mental health, working with people living with severe and persistent mental illness, dual diagnoses, trauma, and homelessness.

I attended The Cleveland Institute of Art for my BA in Fine Art, followed by Ursuline College for my MA in Art Therapy and Counseling.

I specialize in working with trauma, personality disorders, anxiety, depression, and chronic health conditions, among others.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am trained in Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Care, Skills-based treatment for ADHD, Building Resilience, and Mindfulness.

I come from a perspective of curiosity. I love to learn about people's experiences, and ways that these experiences have impacted and influenced them over time. I love helping people overcome obstacles and challenges, as well as explore transitions, meaning, and value.

What you can expect from our first session

My preferred style of working with clients is person-centered, collaborative, and holistic. My method is to create a partnership and develop a personalized form of treatment, because I believe that we are a team in this process and that we are both experts. Together, we create the most effective form of treatment that will work best for you, changing the treatment over time as it needs to be changed.
