Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Meredith Knitch, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who’s passionate about helping people feel better and live more balanced, fulfilling lives. I specialize in supporting adults working through anxiety, addiction, trauma, and life transitions. My approach is warm, honest, and down-to-earth. We’ll work together at your pace to build tools that really work for you. I believe in creating a safe, judgment-free space where healing and growth can truly happen.

My approach to therapy

I work with clients in a supportive, collaborative way-think of it as a team effort where you're in the driver’s seat, and I’m here to guide and support you. My style is open, honest, and nonjudgmental, and I focus on building trust and safety first. I specialize in substance use, trauma, anxiety, and life transitions, using evidence-based tools like CBT, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing. Every session is tailored to what you need most—whether that’s building coping skills, processing tough emotions, or setting goals for change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take things slow and just have a real conversation about what’s been going on and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. I’ll ask some questions to get to know you better, but there’s no rush-you get to share at your own pace. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, safe, supported, and like you can be yourself. We’ll start figuring out what matters most to you and how we can work together to help you feel better.
