Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. Over the past 15 years, I have worked with a wide range of clients and have developed a practice treating substance use disorders, personality disorders, mood disorders, and executive functioning challenges. I am also trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and incorporate evidence-based techniques tailored to each client's unique needs.

Before becoming a therapist, I earned a Juris Doctor and an MBA, experiences that give me a unique perspective on the complex personal, professional, and life challenges many clients face. Whether you are struggling with addiction, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, relationship difficulties, or feeling stuck, my goal is to provide practical tools, compassionate support, and a collaborative environment where meaningful change can occur.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, interactive, and solution-focused. I believe therapy should not only help clients understand themselves but also equip them with practical skills that improve their daily lives. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment while also providing honest feedback and accountability when it helps move clients toward their goals.

I specialize in working with addiction, personality disorders, mood disorders, and executive functioning difficulties. Every client is different, so I develop individualized treatment plans based on each person's strengths, challenges, and goals. Drawing from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and other evidence-based approaches, I help clients build healthier coping skills, improve relationships, regulate emotions, and create lasting change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and determine whether we're a good fit. I'll spend time learning about what brings you to therapy, your personal history, your current concerns, and what you hope to accomplish. We'll discuss your goals, answer any questions you have about the therapy process, and begin developing a plan that feels realistic and meaningful.

My style is warm, engaged, and conversational. While I want clients to feel heard and understood, I also believe therapy should be productive. Many clients leave the first session with a clearer understanding of what's contributing to their struggles, along with practical strategies or skills they can begin using right away.
