Great to meet you!

I am passionate about helping people navigate life's complexities and find the clarity and strength to move forward. With a Master of Arts in Counseling from Rollins College and a decade of experience as an educator, I bring a unique, systems-focused, and empathetic perspective to therapy. I understand that each individual's journey is unique, and I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your challenges, process your emotions, and discover new ways of coping. Whether you're dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, or life transitions, my goal is to walk alongside you as you make sense of your story.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and a trauma-focused approach to therapy. I believe in providing structure while being flexible enough to adapt to your unique needs. Therapy with me is a collaborative process where we work together to identify patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, then develop coping strategies and skills to help you manage stress, regulate emotions, and heal from trauma. I am upfront and emphatically challenging in my approach, always bringing humor, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. I aim to help you see yourself in a light you may not yet have space for, creating a space for growth and transformation.

What you can expect from me

From our sessions, you can expect to gain practical tools for managing stress, emotional dysregulation, and anxiety. You’ll develop strategies to change negative thought patterns, process past trauma, and build resilience. I prioritize learning and psychoeducation, helping you understand the “why” behind your experiences and the tools we use to address them. My goal is for you to leave each session with a greater sense of self-understanding, increased confidence, and a clearer path forward. I will encourage you to embrace and express your most authentic self while we work together to align your values with your actions, empowering you to face life’s challenges with greater strength and authenticity.
