Great to meet you!

Hi there! My name is Meryl, and I'm a licensed mental health counselor in Florida. I work with LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent clients to help them navigate anxiety, depression, and life's daily challenges. My goal is to help you understand and embrace your unique brain, feel more regulated, and live authentically.

My approach to therapy

I strive to create a safe environment for people to be themselves. Whether you're neurodivergent, part of the LGBTQ+ community, or both, you deserve a therapist you gets you. I utilize evidenced-based approaches such as CBT, DBT/mindfulness, and person-centered therapy in conjunction with having a non-judgmental and caring perspective to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to feel seen, heard, accepted and supported in a space where you don't have to mask who you are. I want our sessions to be a place where you don't feel the need to mask, and together we can work through any struggles you may be facing. Together, we can build insight, learn practical tools to manage anxiety and depression, and work through life's challenges with compassion and curiosity. My goal is to help you feel empowered, regulated, and connected to your authentic self so that you can navigate life with greater confidence and self-trust. I am committed to helping my clients become the truest version of themselves and thrive while being authentically themselves!
