Great to meet you!

If medication has felt like guesswork, it doesn't have to.

I'm a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC),

licensed in Connecticut, and I work with adults by secure video across the

state, in English and in French.

I prescribe to the minimum effective dose. We start carefully, change one thing

at a time, and judge the result by how you actually feel and function, not only

by a symptom score. You'll always know why a medication is on your list, what

it's expected to do, and when we'll reassess it.

Mental wellness isn't just the absence of symptoms. It's getting your life back.

My approach to therapy

My clinical foundation was built in high-acuity environments, where precision

and empathy are both non-negotiable. I earned my advanced degree in nursing with

a focus on psychiatry, which taught me to manage complex medication regimens

without losing sight of the person behind the diagnosis.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy: I've worked within DBT frameworks, helping people

build emotional regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness.

Trauma-informed care: the pace belongs to you. You're never required to narrate

what happened in order to be treated.

Addiction medicine: I bring a long-standing commitment to the substance-use

recovery community, including relapse prevention and, where appropriate,

evaluation for medication-assisted treatment.

Today my focus is outpatient care that balances medication with what medication

alone can't reach.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a full psychiatric evaluation, not a fifteen-minute

checklist. We go through your history, what you've already tried, what worked

and what didn't, your sleep, and anything physical that could be driving what

you're feeling. We finish with a plan you understand and agree with.

I don't believe in one-size-fits-all medicine. Whether we're discussing the

neurobiology of addiction or fine-tuning a treatment plan for anxiety, my goal

is that you leave feeling heard and understood.

I view our relationship as a collaboration: I bring the clinical knowledge, and

you bring the expertise on your own life.
