Great to meet you!

You should know that I lead with compassion, patience, and a non-judgmental presence. My goal is to create a safe space where you can be fully yourself while exploring the changes you want to make. I show up authentically in every session—warm, grounding, and easy to talk to—while also offering clear guidance and practical tools you can use in daily life.

I believe that therapy works best when you feel seen, supported, and understood. I take a collaborative approach, tailoring each session to your needs, your pace, and your goals. You’ll never be rushed, dismissed, or expected to “have it all together.” Instead, we’ll build confidence, resilience, and clarity step by step.

Most importantly, I want you to know that you don’t have to navigate life alone. I’m here to help you feel more empowered, more grounded, and more connected to the life you want to live.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative and evidence-based, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengths-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and person-centered principles. I tailor treatment to each client’s specific needs, presenting concerns, and goals. My style combines skill-building with insight-oriented work, helping clients develop emotional regulation, improve coping strategies, and understand the patterns that influence their behaviors and relationships.

I focus on creating a structured yet supportive environment where clients can explore challenges safely while also gaining practical tools they can apply outside of sessions. I incorporate psychoeducation, goal-setting, and collaborative treatment planning to ensure therapy remains purposeful and aligned with each client’s progress.

My clinical aim is to help clients increase self-awareness, strengthen their resilience, and develop effective strategies to manage stress, anxiety, relationship dynamics, and life transitions.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a supportive and structured space where we focus on understanding what brings you in at this point in your life. I complete a thorough assessment that explores your current concerns, symptom patterns, history, and strengths. We will clarify your goals for treatment, discuss any immediate stressors, and identify what you need to feel grounded and supported.

I also explain my therapeutic approach and the evidence-based strategies I may use so you have a clear sense of what our work together will look like. Most importantly, the first session is about building comfort and rapport. You’re encouraged to share at your own pace, ask questions, and express what you hope to gain from therapy. My priority is to create a calm, nonjudgmental environment where you feel understood and where we can begin to map out a path forward.
