Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Micah Chapman, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My goal is to provide a supportive and collaborative space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences while working toward meaningful change.

I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, identity exploration, relationship concerns, substance use, and LGBTQIA+ issues. I am also certified in Written Exposure Therapy (WET), an evidence-based treatment for trauma and PTSD.

Together, we’ll identify your strengths, better understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical tools to help you navigate life’s challenges. Whether you’re seeking healing, personal growth, or simply someone to walk alongside you, I’m committed to helping you reach your goals.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is most effective when it is built on trust, collaboration, and authenticity. My approach is tailored to each client’s unique needs, goals, and strengths. I integrate evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Written Exposure Therapy (WET) when appropriate. Together, we’ll identify patterns, develop practical coping strategies, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We’ll discuss what brought you to therapy, your personal history, current challenges, and what you hope to achieve. We will create a treatment plan that reflects your goals while ensuring you feel heard, understood, and comfortable moving forward at your own pace.
