Great to meet you!

You don't have to explain your whole story before we get started. Whether you're working through old trauma, anxiety that follows you into every room, or family dynamics that have never felt right, I'm here to help you make sense of it, and move through it.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master of Science in counseling. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, and I've supported people through trauma, grief, addiction, bipolar disorder, relationship conflict, and some of life's most disorienting transitions. I bring cultural awareness, warmth, and a direct style to every session. Good therapy should feel real, not clinical.

I became a therapist because I believe healing happens in relationship, and I'm committed to being a consistent, grounded presence in that process. I have been in the mental health field in last 5 years and a mental health therapist since 2024.

My approach to therapy

My approach is shaped by what you're carrying. For trauma, I use EMDR — a structured, evidence-based process that uses bilateral stimulation to help your nervous system process experiences that got stuck. For families and relational stress, I draw on Family Focused Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy: we spend time on what's already working and build from there. Sessions are practical and collaborative. We might work through a specific memory, practice reframing a thought pattern, or rehearse a hard conversation.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a conversation, not a performance. We'll talk about what's been going on, your background (as much or as little as you want to share), and what you're hoping for. Feeling a little nervous is normal, and there's no pressure to have everything figured out before we meet. We'll start wherever you are.
