Great to meet you!

I am a Board-Certified Psychiatrist and a faculty member at Harvard Medical School. I am also a therapist in psychedelic research trials. I offer psychotherapy and/or medication management or ketamine-assisted psychotherapy if and when needed. Residency (Psychiatry) - Cambridge Health Alliance.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use talk therapy and other tools to form an empathetic connection with my clients that provides them with a safe space for self-discovery. Through psychotherapy, we can explore our own histories in order to feel more authentic and fulfilled. Additionally, the meaningful relationships we develop with our therapists can help us improve our relationships with those around us. As a musician myself, I also believe in the power of healing through the arts.

What you can expect from our first session

Rather than reduce people to a series of symptoms and chemical imbalances, I approach each person as a unique individual and strive to understand the complex intersection of biological, psychological, social, cultural, and structural factors that inform how we view and interact with the world around us. I am fluent in Spanish and Mandarin and have experience working with Latin American and East Asian immigrants and their families.
