Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has been licensed for 7 years. Most of my clinical experience has been in governmental settings providing mental health and case management services to participants in underserved communities. I have at least 2 years of experience working in supervisory capacities in various community settings in Greater Los Angeles. I have approximately 1 year of experience in private practice group setting. My areas of focus in private settings are depression, anxiety and trauma . My private practice experience has been working with adults and couples.

My approach to therapy

I firmly believe that therapy only works if there is a strong therapeutic alliance between practitioner and client. I work from a team and partnership approach. The foundation of trust and authenticity must be laid early on and reciprocated during each session. I utilized a myriad of evidenced-based interventions to help clients work towards her/or his goal(s).

What you can expect from me

There's a term in the clinical world called "holding the room." This allows the client to be vulnerable and, perhaps, display her/or his emotions in a safe space. The intended goal is to establish and maintain an environment of trust.
