Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) with a Master’s degree in Social Work. I have experience working in outpatient, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization settings, supporting adults through periods of anxiety, depression, substance use, and major life stressors.

I work primarily with adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward and are looking for practical, supportive therapy. My approach is collaborative and non-judgmental, and I place a strong emphasis on helping clients build real-world skills to manage emotions, reduce distress, and create structure and balance in their lives.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, and motivational strategies, and I tailor treatment to each person’s goals, values, and pace. I aim to create a space where clients feel respected, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative and practical, with an emphasis on compassion and skill-building. I work with clients to understand what’s driving their distress and to develop tools they can use outside of sessions. I integrate CBT, ACT, and motivational strategies, and I take a non-judgmental, harm-reduction approach when addressing substance use. Treatment is tailored to each client’s goals, values, and pace.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we’ll focus on getting to know what’s bringing you to therapy and what you’re hoping to get out of our work together. We’ll talk through your current concerns, relevant background, and any questions or hesitations you may have about therapy.

I aim to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can share at your own pace. We’ll begin identifying initial goals and areas of focus, and I may offer gentle structure or coping tools if it feels helpful. By the end of the session, we’ll discuss next steps and make sure you leave with a clear sense of how therapy can support you moving forward.
