Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and National Certified Counselor who works with adolescents, adults, and couples facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, identity struggles, and life transitions. My counseling approach is rooted in helping people understand their story, make sense of their pain, and move toward healing with greater clarity, purpose, and direction. I integrate evidence based practices with a deeper focus on identity, values, and meaning, and for clients who desire it, I am able to incorporate Christian faith into the counseling process. My goal is to offer a space that is compassionate, honest, and growth oriented.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in existential, narrative, and values based work. I help clients explore the story they are living, the meanings they have made from their experiences, and the patterns that may be keeping them stuck. I believe many struggles are tied to deeper questions of identity, purpose, responsibility, and meaning. I also incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help clients clarify their values, increase psychological flexibility, and move toward meaningful change. My style is reflective, direct, and growth oriented, helping clients not only reduce symptoms, but live with greater clarity, direction, and purpose.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to be a thoughtful, structured, and nonjudgmental space where we begin exploring what brings them to counseling and what they hope will change. I focus on understanding not only the immediate concerns, but also the larger story, including patterns, relationships, values, and identity issues that may be shaping those struggles. My goal in the first session is to help clients feel heard, gain some initial clarity, and begin identifying meaningful goals for therapy.
