Great to meet you!
Finding someone who truly listens, offers steady support, and provides a safe, confidential space can feel overwhelming—especially when you’re already carrying stress or uncertainty. Reaching out for help is not a sign of weakness; it’s an act of self‐care and autonomy. Therapy isn’t about being told what to do. It’s about strengthening your independence through insight, compassion, and practical tools that help you move forward.
I’ve supported individuals for more than twenty years as a counselor, working with a wide range of psychological and emotional concerns. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia and hold certifications as a Clinical Trauma Treatment Provider and a Compassion Fatigue Treatment Provider.
My background includes a MS in Counseling (2007) from George Washington University and a MA in Community Health Promotion (1995) from the West Virginia University School of Public Health. My approach is grounded, collaborative, and focused on helping you feel more capable, more centered, and more yourself.
