Great to meet you!
Mike Bruckner is a lifelong resident of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. He has realized his love of social work and counseling after spending his life in the insurance business. After raising 3 children, he went back to school and finished his Bachelors Degree in Psychology at Temple University and went on to achieve his Master’s Degree at Simmons University. He gained more than two years of invaluable experience as a drug and alcohol counselor at Aldie Behavioral Counseling, where he was hired after undergoing his clinical training. In an effort to broaden his realm of practice, he began employment at The Counseling and Psychotherapy Center where he counseled federal inmates for two years. What Mike may lack in years of clinical experience; he has an abundance of in life’s experience. There is no replacement for passion and enthusiasm in doing what one truly loves. Mike is trained in CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), as well as EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing) and uses these modalities with great success. Mike has been married for 44 years and has raised 3 successful, married children and spends his time as a spectator to his 10 grandchildren and their various activities. He also is involved in youth football as a commissioner for Bux-Mont Pop Warner Football. Mike also loves working in his yard, but most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren.
