Great to meet you!

As a licensed mental health counselor with a background in both western and eastern philosophical approaches, I specialize in helping “lost souls” of any age or phase-of-life to discover their path. Nothing brings me greater happiness than to serve as a guide and partner as my clients connect with the ground beneath their feet, develop their inner compass, and begin to step into a life they can wholeheartedly call their own. We are best at finding our path when we remember that we are not alone.

My approach to therapy

I strive to embody warmth, open-heartedness, intelligence, and curiosity with clients. I understand therapy as holistic inquiry, prompting us to consider not only the deep interconnectedness of our mind-&-body, but also our unavoidable interrelatedness with other human-beings and the more-than-human earth. I use mindfulness approaches to encourage clients to feel into the beating heart of their emotions, discover their core values, and enact those values in their ways of living and loving.

What you can expect from me

We come into therapy empty handed, and we leave empty handed. The difference is that therapy shows us how to use our “empty” hands to heal ourselves, serve others, and nourish the world. This is how I hope you leave your sessions with me: empty handed and ready to get to work. Let’s get you started on your path!
