Great to meet you!

Thank you for visiting my page. Deciding to embark on the path of healing can be challenging, and I applaud you for taking the first step. I work with adults seeking to address concerns regarding relationships, self-worth, and fear of commitment. I offer a safe and supportive space for exploring these complex issues. My goal is to help you develop the skills needed to navigate life's challenges with confidence. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, grief, traumatic experiences, depression, or relationship issues, I am here to help you create a more fulfilling life. I invite you to reach out.

A bit about my approach to therapy

What you bring forward will determine what approaches I will use in the sessions. For example, if we're looking at matters from an Attachment Theory lens, together we may consider your attachment style is (e.g., avoidant, ambivalent, preoccupied, etc.) and then explore how this impacts your daily life and/or relationships. Or if we were to consider Object Relations, it would be beneficial to consider Projective Identification, Splitting, Object Constancy, and themes of abandonment to name a few.

What you can expect from our first session

Our first session together will give us an opportunity to get to know each other better, for me to better understand what has brought you to therapy, to hear what your challenges are, and to get a sense of what you'd like to work on. Furthermore, during this initial session, this a great time (but doesn't have to be) to explore family history, relationship problems, and explore traumatic events in your development and life.

What I believe that I can provide for a client is patience, compassion, and understanding. With me, there will be no need to rush to the right answer or feel pressured to arrive at a destination before you are ready. My aim is to get to the root of what causes you pain or distress, not to simply focus on your symptoms.
