Great to meet you!

I was born in Louisiana and pursued my psychology studies at LSU in Shreveport, LA, before earning a Master's degree in Counseling and Guidance from Louisiana Tech University. Since 2010, I have been a licensed professional counselor (LPC) through the Licensed Professional Counselors Board of Examiners.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe that psychotherapy is a valuable opportunity for growth, enhancing self-confidence and promoting a healthier life. I am dedicated to assisting individuals in making meaningful changes, whether addressing substance abuse, relationship issues, or chronic illness. With specialized training in EMDR, I am well-equipped to support clients through challenges such as PTSD, sexual trauma, and other behavioral concerns.

What you can expect from our first session

There are many coping skills that I expect patients to be able to accept and absorb into their lives that can help them deal with everyday challenges that we all face: anxiety, increased stress, disappointments and disillusions. Not all of these skills will be acceptable but some will and those that are usable by them will stay with them always.
