Great to meet you!

I spent over 10 years working inside the mental health and substance use system — as a behavioral health technician, case manager, and substance abuse counselor — before earning my Master's in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. I work with adults dealing with anxiety, trauma, burnout, and addiction, often at the same time. I'm direct, I assign homework, and I work best with people who are done managing symptoms and ready to actually move through them.

My approach to therapy

At my core I'm a relationship-first clinician — I believe the therapeutic relationship itself is the foundation of change, and that means you'll always feel heard, respected, and met where you are. From that base I work flexibly, drawing from talk therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, parts work, and motivational strategies depending on what you actually need. The method follows the person. My focus is on understanding what's driving the problem, not just managing it — and building a plan around your life and your goals, not a textbook.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about orientation — I want to understand what brought you here, what you've already tried, and what getting better actually looks like for you specifically. You won't leave with a homework assignment on day one, but you will leave with a clear picture of whether we're a good fit and what the work ahead involves. No vague reassurances — just an honest conversation about where you are and where you want to go.
