Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with eight years of experience providing therapy across inpatient, community-based, and outpatient settings. I hold a Master of Social Work from Tulane University and a Doctorate in Social Work from Simmons University. I work with adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, substance use concerns, and major life transitions. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and trauma-informed, grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy. I am committed to creating an affirming, nonjudgmental space, with particular experience supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals and clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative and grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy. I help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, focus on what is within their control, and develop practical strategies for responding to life’s challenges. Through narrative work, we explore and reshape the stories clients hold about themselves, separating identity from circumstance and strengthening personal agency. I emphasize values-based decision-making, emotional regulation, and accountability balanced with self-compassion. My goal is to support resilience, perspective, and meaningful change aligned with each client’s values.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a warm, open-minded, and nonjudgmental space where they are met with respect and affirmation. We’ll focus on understanding what brings you to therapy, your goals, and what you hope to gain, at a pace that feels comfortable. I approach initial sessions collaboratively and creatively, using thoughtful questions and reflection rather than rushing to solutions. You do not need to have everything figured out, as this is a space to be honest, explore, and be yourself. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and grounded in what working together can look like.
