Great to meet you!
I have dedicated my career to caring for others and have been a nurse since 1995. My journey began as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) before becoming a Registered Nurse (RN) through Odessa College. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from The University of Texas at El Paso, followed by a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. I completed my Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) training at Walden University and am board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
My clinical experience includes cardiac telemetry, home health, orthopedic care, medical-surgical nursing, and physical rehabilitation, giving me a strong appreciation for the connection between physical and mental health. I also serve as a director at Midland Memorial Hospital, where I support excellence in patient care and healthcare leadership.
I am passionate about mental health and wellness and committed to giving back to my community through compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care. I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported in a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free environment.
As a PMHNP, I take a collaborative, patient-centered approach to treatment. By listening to your unique story, concerns, and goals, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, education, lifestyle strategies, and therapy recommendations.
Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma, or other mental health concerns, my goal is to help you reduce symptoms, build resilience, and improve your overall quality of life. It is my privilege to partner with you on your journey toward lasting mental wellness.
