Great to meet you!

My name is Michael Hall, a licensed therapist who has worked in inpatient, community, school and office settings at all ages on addiction, co-occuring symptoms, and associated difficulties like anxietey and depression. I have diverse clinical experience across genders and gender identities, taking a person centered approach.I come from a place of admiration for anyone willing to take the step of reaching for help. That strength alone speaks to your ability to put in the work and find success.

My approach to therapy

I believe that the resilience we gain living with adversity is often the greatest skill needed in reaching our definition of success. With a focus on what we can control, what thought patterns create our limitations, and focusing on creating tools to practice working in these areas, over time we find that we have the power to create change.

I believe that none of us are broken and need to be fixed. Instead, we may have adopted unsuccessful habits and outlooks that have lead to unwanted outcomes. My job will be to work with you and offer different perspectives and possible alternatives that will help.

What you can expect from me

Mutual trust is foundational in successful outcomes. It is my job to clearly communicate possible goals and directions of our work; from there, you will set the pace. As a clinician, my job is to be a partner with you; you are the professional on your life.
