Michael Hawthorne

I'm Michael Hawthorne, board-certified in both Adult gerontology and psychiatric mental health practitioner with over 15 years of experience in medicine and mental health. I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, helping them navigate various mental health challenges and achieve their personal goals. My professional journey includes a background in both clinical and inpatient settings, which allows me to provide evidence-based treatments that are tailored to each individual's needs. My specialty is in the area of Geriatric psych, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorders(ADHD/ADD) and Mood Disorders.

My approach to care is holistic and client-centered. I believe in creating a warm, non-judgmental environment where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves and exploring their thoughts and emotions. I use a combination of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and medication management when necessary.
