Michael Holler

I have a MA in Professional Psychology. I have worked in inpatient psychiatric, community mental health, and private practice settings in my career. I served on the board of the Florida Mental Health Counselors Association for 10 years and was President in 2015. I specialize in working with individuals, couples and families with adolescents. I am very direct and I like to get to the heart of the issues as quickly as possible. After all ,why should you stay in pain any longer than you absolutely have to? I'm also the author of the book "Structured Relationship Theory."

As a solution-focused Clinical Mental Health Counselor, my goal is to help you by teaching you tools to improve your situation. While we can't change difficult situations in the past, we can learn from them and work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complimentary therapy approaches and techniques, we will work to make things better, through unearthing long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life. Then we will put in place the tools to resolve these problems in a structured and powerful way.

We will quickly and thoroughly get to the heart of your issues. My direct approach usually allows me to begin to help people during the first session. I try to give practical, simple tools in the initial session so that the client walks out with something that they can use.
