Great to meet you!

HI, I’m Mike. Sometimes life can feel overwhelming and frustrating. Stress in our lives can come from many different sources: communication difficulties, parenting children, unrealistic expectations at work, academic struggles. These challenges can become confusing and depressing if left in isolation. By addressing these issues in a safe, trusting counseling environment many of these stressors can be reduced.

My approach to therapy

I have spent the past 16 years working in diverse therapeutic contexts: university setting, community based services, psychiatric/medical hospitals, and finally in private practice. I work with adolescents, adults and couples. Some of my areas of clinical focus include: OCD, anxiety, mood instability, spiritual issues, addiction, ADHD, marital conflict, behavioral problems, and academic underachievement,

What you can expect from me

Session should be a mix of challenge and fun. I work hard to build rapport and use humor to make sessions relaxing while doing hard work at the same time.
