Great to meet you!

If you're struggling with anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship challenges, or feeling stuck in patterns that keep leading you back to the same place, you're not alone. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling frustrated, disconnected, overwhelmed, stuck in unhealthy patterns, or unsure how to move forward. They may be navigating recovery, difficult life transitions, stress, grief, or relationship problems while trying to create a healthier and more meaningful life.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than a decade of experience in the recovery field, I work with adults seeking practical support and lasting change. My approach is straightforward, respectful, and focused on helping you better understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and choices. Whether you're working through addiction, anxiety, depression, men's issues, relationship challenges, family concerns, or personal growth goals, my aim is to help you build greater self-awareness, strengthen resilience, and move toward the life you want to create.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be practical, collaborative, and action-oriented. My role is not simply to listen, but to help you identify patterns, challenge obstacles, build effective coping skills, and create meaningful progress. I provide a supportive environment while also offering honest feedback, accountability, and encouragement throughout the process.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Strength-Based Therapy, Recovery-Oriented Counseling, Behavioral Management, Problem-Solving Therapy, Relapse Prevention strategies, Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD), and Solution-Focused approaches. Together, we'll explore the connections between your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and personal values. We'll work to strengthen communication, improve emotional regulation, develop healthier coping skills, address substance use concerns, manage anxiety and depression, and build practical tools that support long-term growth and recovery.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to discuss what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're facing, and the goals you'd like to achieve. My goal is to understand your unique experiences while helping you identify where you feel stuck and what meaningful progress would look like for you.

As we work together, you can expect a supportive, direct, and collaborative approach. Clients often leave therapy with greater clarity, improved self-awareness, healthier relationships, stronger coping skills, and increased confidence in their ability to handle life's challenges. Whether you're seeking support for recovery, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, or personal growth, my goal is to help you move from insight to action and create lasting, meaningful change.
