Great to meet you!

Hi! Thanks for checking out my profile! My name is Mike and I am glad you're here!

I received my masters degree in counseling from Fitchburg State University in 2017. After graduating, I started my career as a trauma-informed in home family therapist wherein I worked primarily with children, adolescents, and their caregivers teaching communication skills, coping strategies, addressing safety concerns, and working to improve stability in a home environment. Since 2022 I have worked as an outpatient counselor working with a range of clients from ages 6 to adult. I love working with a variety of clients, and focus especially on treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, and identity.

My approach to therapy

I use a strengths-based, client-centered approach in working with my clients. I combine this focus with a cognitive-behavioral and solutions-focused informed counseling style to help others identify their short and long term goals, develop plans to achieve their goals, and troubleshoot any difficulties along the way.

What you can expect from me

I love to hear about client strengths and interests and am very interested in getting to know my clients as people right from the start. I aim to collaborate with my clients during our first session to create a treatment plan and goals of their choosing and to gather background information to help me understand who my clients are, where they come from, what is important to them, and what they'd like to work on.
