Great to meet you!

My passion and focus is in treating anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and related conditions. I received my PhD & MA in clinical psychology from UT Austin, specializing in anxiety disorder research & treatment. I seek to provide a safe, warm, and affirming environment where your individual experience is validated. I find meaning and enjoyment in helping individuals overcome their fears, resulting in therapeutic interactions that tend to be genuine, fulfilling, and productive.

My approach to therapy

When finding a doctor to treat a broken arm you certainly want a provider who is kind, but unfortunately even the most empathetic doctor will be ineffective if they do not know how to cast an arm. Similarly, while warmth is essential it is not sufficient for competent anxiety treatment all on its own. Luckily, there are efficacious, well-researched treatments available for anxiety disorders. I first consider using evidence-based treatments with a history of rigorously tested efficacy.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to reclaim elements of their lives that have been lost to anxiety, for example activities they have put aside or relationships that have suffered as a result of fear.
