Great to meet you!

I am a Mental Health Clinician and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I work with individuals and groups in the interest of achieving optimal mental health and progress towards desired goals. Using a systemic therapy approach I assist my clients in reevaluating past and present challenges so they may move successfully through transitional periods of life into a happy, balanced future.

I encourage a holistic approach towards wellness. It is my goal to assist and support you on your journey to wellness while providing you with the tools and knowledge necessary for change. My specialties include: anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, grief/bereavement, substance and alcohol abuse, impulse/sexual behaviors, and much more.

One of my gifts is my ability to join with people while assisting on individual journeys to wellness. Don't be a stranger. I'm here to help. In a world where many talk but few listen, I am here to listen, understand and be attentive to your mental health needs.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I have an eclectic therapy style, drawing primarily form multiple therapeutic lenses including: Solution Focused, Family Systems, Narrative, CBT, and Experiential Therapeutic modalities. My goal is to assist in processing and moving forward from past traumas and limiting beliefs while encouraging a shift towards responsibility and accountability for one's self, leading to a more balanced and fulfilling life. I am personable with a focus on Social Justice, ensuring I offer an atmosphere of equity free from bias.

What you can expect from our first session

I believe therapy sessions should be a respite from stress and overwhelm. I provide a relaxed environment where I will support you based on your individual needs and concerns. Common treatment goals include learning and implementing adaptive coping skills, identifying and removing from practice maladaptive and detrimental behaviors, and processing an autobiography to identify roots of false narratives/limiting beliefs so that these beliefs or stories may be re-written more accurately.
