I specialize in working with couples who are experiencing difficulties. Intimate relationships bring joy and pain to each of us. Difficulties often emerge from pre-existing patterns which undermine communication and sexual expression. I help couples interrupt these patterns and develop the new relationship skills to enhance communication, sexual expression and empathy needed for deep intimacy.
As a marriage and family therapist with a focus on sexuality I believe that no matter what the difficulty, we can reshape our relationships to have the kind of deep connections we yearn for. My strength based, brief treatment approach is built on collaboration, curiosity, and humor. All three are key to creating your relational toolkit.
Couples will develop an understanding of their relationship, the forces that have shaped it and the obstacles that stand in the way of the connection they want. Each couple will develop the skills and confidence to resolve conflict, express desire and connect with each other on the deepest level.
